LawSource offers good bang for the buck.

While its interface is not as simplified as FindLaw’s, LawSource (http://www.lawsource.com/) offers a good bang for the buck: select a state, and you’ll get a slew of links to official and unofficial sources of legal information (including litigation) from that state. Using Massachusetts as the test, we were able to find law journals, law schools, laws, court decisions, and other pieces of useful information.
