When you have used a site more than three times a week for the past year, and you honestly can’t remember opening up the paper-based Yellow pages (how quaint!), you know you’ve found a Useful Site. One such site is BigBook (http://www.bigbook.com/), the American Business Information Inc.’s version of the nationwide yellow pages. Users can search for company listings by company name, industry, or location. Results are displayed simply – name, address, phone number – so that if multiple hits were generated, you can call each one after the other.
