Erik J. Heels read the following prepared statement at the 2025-02-12 Acton Department of Public Works (DPW) Building Committee meeting. Emphasis added.
Hello, Erik, E-R-I-K, Heels, H-E-E-L-S, 17 Forest Road.
I am a RANDOM PERSON here to make a NOW-FAMILIAR PLEA for Forest Road sidewalks for the SAFETY of the DPW neighborhood.
I apologize that I am not attending in person tonight, but I have no car tonight. And if I had a SAFE way to walk to and from Town Hall via sidewalks, then I would do so, but alas, no such SAFE walking route exists. So Zoom it is.
Briefly, our Change.org petition (Build Sidewalks On Forest Road For A Safer Acton (MA 01720)) now has 398 supporters. I will have much more to say at the next Select Board meeting. Thank you, and good to see you all again about this important SAFETY issue.

Also, last night’s FinCom meeting was fun, right?
