* Erik Heels In A Suit And Red Sox Hat

The photo that I wanted the ABA to publish.

In 2003, the ABA Journal ran a nice story about me and some other risk-taking lawyers. In the magazine (but not online) they ran a full-page photo. For the photo shoot, I had to stand on a rock in the mill pond outside of my office for an hour. I actually volunteered to go bungee jumping, fly an airplane upside down, scale rocks, etc. But we settled on standing on a rock in a pond. In a suit, even though I rarely wear a suit (or “lawyer costume,” as my kids call it).

So I agreed to wear a suit, but I wanted to wear my Red Sox hat. The Red Sox photo didn’t make the cut. So here it is, for the record.
